Problem with this country (of which I am a not-so-proud citizen) is that the great unwahsed masses (who vote) vs. other western countries are: uneducated, lack curiosity, do not question anything, swallow whatever is presented to them, watch too much TV and don’t read enough, were fucked up the ass hard by religion and still haven’t recovered from the shock. I mean, how else would you explain people voting for McCain/Palin?
