My friends Dave and KT were in town from Boise, ID last weekend and we went to see Grant-Lee Phillips at the new Largo. Show was awesome. I realized I had never really listened to his records or his former band’s records (Grant-Lee Buffalo). This song is off ‘Jubilee’ (1998) and is called ‘Truly, Truly’. He played it Saturday night and it so happens it’s Dave’s and KT’s song. I hope they don’t mind my showcasing it here. It’s a great song, no wonder they picked it as “theirs”.
