OK, this one had to go on there. This dude is, literally, the fastest man on earth. Andy Green is an RAF pilot (that would be Royal Air Force, yes, Brits) and was the first man to break the sound barrier on wheels on earth a few years ago at the Black Rock desert salt lake (not Bonneville). I got to chat with him for a good 10 minutes. Nicest, most approachable (and certified speed junkie) guy I have ever met. A few days later he broke the land speed record for a diesel-powered car (350 mph!). Man is a god. Thanks to Dave for snapping this.
