OGC Rubs Out a New Logo

UK’s Office of Government Commerce releases it’s new logo and invites you to rotate your head 90 degrees counterclockwise to appreciate its brand strategy.

I saw this one in a few places and thought about flagging it but decided against it. It is gathering steam across the web though so here it is…pretty funny. The agency, being British (and bureaucrats), responded to inquiries about this issue by saying that they were going forward with their launch plan because they had invested so much time and money in it and it was part of their strategy and they thought nobody would really care or notice and the people they were trying to reach were beyond this kind of puerile thought process, blah blah blah.

I think OA (Onanists Anonymous) should sue them though…for copyright infringement or for inciting the kind of compulsive behavior they are trying to save countless lost souls from.
