Damn, this is an idea, or close to it, that I had a few years ago: super exclusive pieces made to order/customized for a boutique (and website) that would sell only a few a month and do that through word-of-mouth and one-to-one marketing. They are selling more pieces than I would have (I was thinking more in the single digits or even one-offs) but I liek what they are doing (I feel validated ;-)) and their site is very cool. Love some of the pieces: for instance, Page 3, the bicycle is great (you could have guessed I would like that one) and of course, two of my fave motorcycles are on there (one from the unfortunately named Confederate and one from Ecosse).
